Before making reservations for lodging at our bed and breakfast in Downtown Seattle for a weekend getaway, review our policies and FAQ below. We are conveniently located near the Sea Tac Airport as an alternative to typical hotels for business trips.
The Sleeping Bulldog is a gay friendly B&B.

1. A deposit equal to (1) one night’s room rate is required with your reservation.
2. Rates start at $123.00 per night for double occupancy, long-term and off-season rates are available. All rates are subject to 9.5% sales tax (Fortunately, we do not have to charge the additional room tax required by hotels.)
3. Payment can be made by personal check, MasterCard, American Express, or VISA. Cash payment is encouraged.
4. We require at least (7) seven days' notice for cancellation or shortening of your stay. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to your arrival date will result in a charge for each night the room remains vacant. All cancellations are subject to a $20 handling fee.
5. Check-in time is between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise arranged. In these cases, it is important to make us aware of any change to your arrival time, so we can be on hand to welcome you to the Sleeping Bulldog B&B. Check-out time is 11:00am
6. For the consideration and safety of all our guests, we do not permit the use of candles or any open-flame product in the inn.

1. Do you have stairs?
Yes, as the inn is on a hillside giving us a panoramic view of all of Downtown Seattle, Puget Sound, and the Olympic mountains. All guests must be able to climb stairs. We are available and happy to assist you with your luggage.
2. Is smoking allowed?
We are sorry, but we strictly enforce our policy of NO Smoking.
3. Do you have pets?
Yes, we have a dwarf bulldog named “Minnie” and a Himalayan cat named “Sasie”. Both animals stay in our apt. in the basement but can come up to say a brief “hello”.
4. Do you allow children or pets?
Although we love children and pets, we are unable to offer the proper facilities for their special needs.
5. What time is check-in? What are your hours for arrival?
We expect you to arrive during the time that was agreed upon when you made your reservation - not early and not late. If problems arise in your travel plans, we certainly understand that, but we expect the courtesy of a call to inform us of your changes. Please keep in mind our office closes at 6:00pm Pacific Time.
6. Is there a place to park?
Standard neighborhood street parking is always available for our rooms.
7. Where are you located? How far are you from downtown, from the airport?
Guests, we are conveniently located in the Jackson Place neighborhood near the International District. We are only (10) ten blocks from the International District and the sports stadiums. You can reach them easily with a 20-min. walk. We are also 20 min. from Sea-Tac Airport.
8. When do you change the room linens?
Naturally, you check in and find fresh, clean room linens. As part of an ongoing, regional effort to conserve water, we change the linens every fourth morning.
9. Does your B&B have air conditioning?
Yes, we recently had a heat pump installed last year, so we will be able to keep the inn very comfortable on warm days. All the rooms are equipped with ceiling fans too.
10. What do you serve for breakfast?
We offer a full breakfast, which always includes fresh juice, coffee, and tea. Our meal will always have fresh fruit, a warm dish, and at least one type of fresh muffins, along with assorted cereals, yogurts, and breads. Please let us know if you have any dietary needs, and we will do our best to accommodate them. |
